Several years ago I moved away from California where you couldn't keep me out of the water. Now landlocked somewhere in Tennessee, to this day, every day I dream of surfing.

The feel of paddling out over the ocean hills at sunset—bringing the day's stresses only to immediately throw them out past the horizon—washing more and more away after every wave. I can feel it. Every single paddle.

Sunset sessions were my escapes. That's why you see suns in almost every piece. Surfing—it's something I think about every day. My skills may be fading but my memories are only becoming more vivid. I can still go and grab that inspiration surfing gave me. But, for now, only in my dreamz.
